<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect whether a clamping member is correctly locked and/or released in a clamping fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The clamping fixture comprises a locking mechanism 2 equipped with a chuck 1 for releasably locating a workpiece pallet, wherein the locking mechanism comprises a plurality of clamping members 5 which, in the locked position, engage with clamping surfaces 31 arranged at the workpiece pallet or a clamping spigot 30 to fix the workpiece pallet to the chuck. The clamping member 5 is provided with a through-hole 8, 8a closed at one end when correctly locked and/or released, and/or at least one clamping member is assigned with a locking pin 10 provided with a through-hole 12 closed off at one end when the corresponding clamping member is correctly locked and/or released, the through-holes 8, 8a, 12 being connected by a connecting conduit to a compressed air source 26 and at least one sensor 27 senses an air flow in the connecting conduit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
