PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a fitting work made easy and capable of restraining degradation of durability. SOLUTION: The connector 1 has a female connector 4 equipped with a female terminal 2 and a case 3, and a male connector 7 equipped with an outer wrapping case 6 capable of wrapping and insertion-coupling a male terminal 5 and the case 3. The female terminal 2 has a contact 2a and a free-end part 2b toward the male terminal 5, and pressing means 3a, 8, 6 for pressing the free-end part 2b in a direction approaching the male terminal 5 at completion of the insertion coupling.
