Electric power generation system driven by solar flux and geocooling

A system for generating electric power by utilizing solar heat flux. The system comprises a heating sub system and a cooling loop. The cooling loop circulates a coolant through a heat exchanger with an expanded second refrigerant which has been heated by the heating sub system thereby heating the coolant. The cooling loop includes a pipe buried in the ground at depth, D. A soil surrounds the length, L, of the pipe and a wrapping material defines and maintains a radial soil annulus width, deltas, extending radially from the pipe to an outer periphery at a peripheral radius, r∞, measured radially from its axis, A. The radial soil annulus width, deltas, can be maintained at $\frac{k_s}{h_s}-r_o.$ The length, L, of the pipe can be equal to $\frac{{\mathrm{mc}}_p}{2\mathrm{pi}}\left\{\frac{0.5469}{k_f}+\frac{1}{k_p}\ln \left(\frac{r_o}{r_i}\right)+\frac{1}{k_s}\left[1+\ln \left(\frac{r_{\infty }}{r_o}\right)\right]\right\}$ wherein $r_{\infty }=\frac{k_s}{h_s}.$ The depth, D, can be equal to ru(√{square root over (alpha2-alpha+1)}-alpha) wherein $\mathrm{alpha}=\exp \left[\frac{2\mathrm{pi}k_pL}{{\mathrm{mc}}_p}-\ln \left(\frac{r_o}{r_i}\right)\right].$
