<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image storage apparatus from which a desired image is obtained quickly without increasing the stored data volume. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image storage apparatus 5, receives multi-frame image data consisting of a plurality of frame images and stores them in a database 53, provides medical image data in response to a request from an image display apparatus 4, and includes: a virtual identification information generating unit 62 which generates virtual identification information including information on each frame of the multi-frame image data; and a single image data generating unit 67 which, in response to a request from the image display apparatus 4, generates a single frame image data which is handled frame by frame from the multi-frame image data, based on the virtual identification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
