<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna having improved reception efficiency (reception sensitivity) of electric waves, while suppressing the eddy current loss that occurs in a metal existing closeby. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna 101 is constituted of a core 120 around the middle part of which a coil 130 is wound, and a magnetic member 141. The magnetic member 141, opposed to the coil 130, is constituted of two magnetic pieces 141a and 141b which are almost similar in sizes and shapes, by being isolated in the middle part of a single board, with its longitudinal direction being arranged along the axial direction of the core 120. The distance between the core 120 and the magnetic pieces 141a and 141b is longest at end portions 141ac and 141bc of the middle part side, where the coil 130 of the core 120 is wound around and becomes gradually shorter, as it approaches other end portions 141ae and 141be. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
