摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for amplifying a nucleic acid sequence by utilizing thermal convection, having a simple constitution, easily realizing it by a downsized and composite device, and also available a DNA polymerase without having high temperature stability, and a method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: This device for amplifying the nucleic acid sequence by utilizing the thermal convection comprises a process of thermally bonding a specimen with a plurality of heat sources supplying heat or taking heat to/from a plurality of specific regions within the specimen, arranging the regions held at a relatively higher temperature among the plurality of specific regions in the specimen at a lower position than the regions held at a relatively lower temperature, and thereby, holding a specific spatial temperature distribution to perform a polymerase chain reaction in a good efficiency in the specimen, and the method for the same is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
