<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system, a user apparatus, a printing apparatus, an authentication apparatus and a program that prevent leakage of confidential information included in print data. <P>SOLUTION: A print data encryption part 14 of the user apparatus 1 encrypts document data with a common key generated in accordance with the document data and converts it into print data in a PDL format before sending it to the printer 2, and registers the common key in a storage part 32 of the authentication apparatus 3. An authentication request part 22 of the printer 2 generates a pair of a public key and a secret key every time the encrypted print data is received, and makes an authentication request with the public key to the authentication apparatus 3. The authentication apparatus 3 returns the common key encrypted with the public key to the printer 2 as a successful authentication result. A common key decryption part 24 of the printer 2 decrypts the common key with the secret key, and a print data decryption part 25 decrypts the print data with the common key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
