PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control apparatus which can achieve the same effect when one of the many buttons set is pressed by using an operational means such as a mouse to designate the location on the display.

SOLUTION: The operation control apparatus includes: a starting point memory means to memorize the location on the display designated by the operational means when the first operation signal is input by the operational means which designates the location on the display as a starting point PP1; an ending point memory means to memorize the location on the display designated by the operational means when the second operation signal is input by the operational means after the first operation signal as an ending point PP2; a game effect determining means which determines the game effect occurring to a character from the starting point PP1and the ending point PP2; and a game effect display control means which displays an image from the game effect determined by the game effect determine means on the display.
