PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope control device for reducing a burden on a user comparing to the conventional endoscopes. SOLUTION: The endoscope control device includes a first connector receiving part and a second connector receiving part to and from which an endoscope is attached and detached, a connection detecting part for detecting the connection of the endoscope in the first connector receiving part and the second connector receiving part and outputting as a connection detecting signal, a first patient circuit which is electrically connected to a post stage of the first connector receiving part and is connected to a first reference potential point, and a second patient circuit which is electrically connected to a post stage of a second reference potential point different from the first reference potential point.
