A stage of a turbine or compressor for a turbomachine, comprising at least a vane disk (18) surrounded with a sectorised ring (20) supported by a casing (16) and comprising a circumferential flange (34) radially clamped on a rail (38) of the casing by substantially C-shaped cross-section locks (40, 140) which are axially engaged on the casing rail and the flange of the ring, the inner (144) and outer (142) walls of each lock comprising radial bearing means (150, 148) on the flange of the ring and the casing rail, respectively, those bearing surfaces only extending on a part of the width (L) of the lock.
