The element (10) has a supporting body (16) made of elastomer arranged between a bearing core (12) and a bearing sleeve (14) of the element. The supporting body is provided with a non-aging cover (20), which is designed as a protective cap. The supporting body is closable by the protective cap in an air tight or air-permeable manner against the environment. The protective cap is fixed at the element by a clamping ring. The protective cap is made of flexible, elastomer materials, where the protective cap is curved in an area wise manner.
