<p>The invention relates to an intermediate part to be placed on two adjacent battens of a roof or two adjacent laths for siding, in order to bear adjacent planar covering means, particularly slates and/or flat tiles, and for improving the tightness of the assembly thus formed, of the type that comprises an oblong web (1) having an upper face for bearing said covering means and a lower face, and including transverse edges (Ic, Id) and longitudinal edges (Ia, Ib), the latter including distal flanges (2) and distal portions of back-folded ledges (10). The part is characterised in that the two distal flanges, on the one hand, and two proximal flanges not located at the proximal end of the web, on the other hand, are adapted for connecting said part to two adjacent battens or two adjacent laths and to covering means for a roof or for siding, the proximal flanges extending from said part or being removably attached onto said part.</p> |
