<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aging method that performs appropriate aging to AC characteristics, and to provide an aging device. <P>SOLUTION: A load control means 31 gives load voltage or load current varying based on prescribed scanning speed to a fuel cell 1 by controlling a load device 2. A measuring means 32 measures the state of the fuel cell 1 to which load voltage or load current is applied with the load control means 31.
