PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flashlight which senses a quake by a sensor when an earthquake arrives, announce it with a buzzer, an illumination, and a quake indication lamp, turns off a sensor indication lamp switch when only the illumination is needed, can only illuminate when an independent switch or a main body is held up, can change a bulb cover of a screw-like system between a few types of covers, can illuminate when the main body is held up and a switch on a bottom of a box is turned on, is portable, and glows with fluorescent coating even in the dark. SOLUTION: A dry battery 1 and a vibration sensor 2 are arranged in a box 9. When the quake arrives, the vibration sensor 2 operates to make the buzzer 3, the illumination 7, and the quake indication lamp 4 simultaneously operate, and announce it. When only the illumination 7 is needed, it is turned on and off with the independent switch 5, or the switch 8 on the bottom of the box is turned on when the main body is held up to illuminate.
