<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly compose an automatic transmission having two clutches disposed at an input side of the transmission mechanism and enable the automatic transmission to cope with an increase of engine output. <P>SOLUTION: In a configuration provided with a first and a second clutch 10, 20 connecting and disconnecting an input shaft 4 and a transmission mechanism 30 at an input side of the transmission mechanism 30, and connecting the input shaft 4 to drums 12, 22 of both clutch, a first and a second connecting member 14, 24 are connected to inner circumference parts of both drums 12, 22 respectively, and are joined to an input shaft of the second connecting member 24 with spline joint, and cylindrical parts 14a, 24a provided on both connecting members 14, 24 are connected at an inner circumference part of a centrifugal balance chamber 18 of the first clutch 10 by mutual spline fitting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
