<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipeline connecting method capable of simply joining without causing an increase in processing man-hour and without causing the eccentricity or the like of pipelines by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: In the pipeline connecting method during the extension of polyethylene pipes 1, 1', an intermediary annular member 2 which can be relatively rotated with respect to each end surface is disposed between opposed end surfaces of the polyethylene pipes 1, 1', and end surfaces of the polyethylene pipes 1, 1' are made to abut on and joined to each other by inducing the friction heating of the end surfaces by rotating the intermediary annular member in a state that both the ends surfaces in the axial direction of the intermediary member 2 contact with the end surfaces of the opposed polyethylene pipes 1, 1', respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
