<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of checking, at an information processor side whether data to be written is actually encrypted in a system for encrypting written data outside the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor 1, to which a storage device for encrypting written data and decrypting read data or an encryption device 2 for relaying access to a storage device having no function for encryption and decryption and performing encryption and decryption is connected, has an encryption testing means 131 for instructing the storage device to perform test writing and test reading, collating read data received as its response with prestored encrypted test data and outputting capability of an encryption function according to the result of the collation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
