MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF LATCH MECHANISM FOR HOLDING FULL OPEN IN SLIDE DOOR FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a latch mechanism for holding full open in a slide door for a vehicle which can increase the accuracy of restriction of the position of the latch mechanism against a guide roller and improve the working efficiency of the adjustment of the mounting position.

SOLUTION: This slide door for a vehicle comprises a slide rail 14 extending along the lower edge of a door opening, a lower arm 4 extending from the lower part of a door toward the slide rail, the guide roller 41 rotatably supported on the lower arm through a roller support member 40 so attached as to be positionally adjustable, a striker 16 secured to the slide rail near the full open side end, and the latch mechanism 6 attached to the lower arm through a positionally adjustable base frame 60 and engaged with the striker at the full open position of the door. The base frame of the latch mechanism comprises an engagement part 63a engaged with the pivot shaft 41a of the guide roller secured to the roller support member. The position of the latch mechanism is specified with reference to the position where the engagement part is engaged with the pivot shaft.
