<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interconnection to a plurality of redundancy protocols on one network, to construct a flexible network, to prevent a large loop of the network as a whole, to localize an effect on communication and a device in order to reduce a load of the network involved in switching communication paths and further, to quickly switch the communication paths. <P>SOLUTION: Interconnection devices 411 and 412 connect a network 401 where a redundancy protocol operates to another network 402 where the redundancy protocol operates. The interconnection devices control a redundancy protocol of a lower rank network by a virtual link 421 through virtual ports 431 and 432 and redundantly connect the lower rank network to an upper rank network. In addition, MAC address learning results of the upper network are cleared when changing communication paths of the lower rank network to switch the communication paths at a high speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
