CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THROTTLE VALVE, PROGRAM FOR REALIZING THE METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING THE PROGRAM THEREON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of a throttle valve while suppressing noise produced by a motor in the control of a throttle valve controlled by the motor during the stop of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program including steps of: (S100) determining whether an engine is stopped; (S102) determining whether the engine is temporarily stopped by intermittent engine stop control when the engine is stooped (Yes in S100); and (S104) gradually reducing control duty of an electronic throttle valve with a prescribed time reducing amount A when the engine is temporarily stopped (Yes in S102). A time reducing amount A is a value in which the durability of the electronic throttle valve is not deteriorated due to the change in turning speed of the electronic throttle valve by the reduction in the control duty.
