PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device for a vehicle capable of producing turn signal operation sound containing no higher harmonic components and various kinds of alarm sounds. SOLUTION: This information providing device is provided with an audio information provision means 240 for auditorily informing various kinds of states of the vehicle and a control means 202 for operating the audio information provision means 240. The control means 202 receives operation input information according to an operation of a turn signal switch and other information except the operation input information, operates the audio information provision means 240 to produce the turn signal operation sound based on the operation input information, and operates the audio information provision means 240 to produce various kinds of alarm sounds based on the other information.
