PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a wheel cover parallel to a road surface with a simple constitution, regardless of the angle of an arm to the road surface, when the road surface is any of a horizontal road or a slope road, in a wheel mounting structure. SOLUTION: This wheel mounting structure is provided with a wheel 12, the arm 14 rotatably holding the wheel and connecting the wheel to a vehicle body main body, an arm angle changing means for changing an angle of the arm to the road surface, the wheel cover 20 arranged around the wheel and covering this wheel, and a wheel cover parallel holding mechanism having a cable having one end fixed to the vehicle body main body, having the other end fixed to the wheel cover and generating pulling force or pushing force so that the wheel cover becomes parallel to the road surface in response to an angle of the arm and holding the wheel cover in parallel to the road surface even if the angle of the arm is changed by the arm angle changing means.
