PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter device which can reduce power consumption and a load on a driving system for rotating a rotary blade, and can prevent malfunction at cutting. SOLUTION: The cutter device is used for cutting a sheet material composed of a sheet-shaped base material, a thermal printing layer provided on a front surface of the sheet-shaped base material, and a thermal adhesive layer provided on a rear surface of the sheet-shaped base material along a width direction. The cutter device includes a remaining adhesive material removing means 39 for removing a remaining adhesive material 38 adhered to a peripheral edge part of a first rotary blade 9 or a second rotary blade 10.
