PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger-type liquid jet device which can rapidly perform a cleaning operation or a coating work to widen a coating area by a jet fluid material, and can securely prevent the coating fluid from leaking while it is held in the device. SOLUTION: This trigger-type liquid jet device comprises (1) a body 1 equipped with a pump for sucking, pressurizing and compression-feeding the content of a container, (2) a nozzle 3 which is fitted to the apex of the body 1 and jets the content compression-fed by the pump to the outside, and (3) an operating lever 2 which is pivotally retained on the body 1 through a pivot and drives the pump by the traction of the lever 2. In addition, a holder 7 which has a wiper 7d and is detachably fixed to the body 1 or a protecting cover 6 for protecting the body 1, is arranged on the body 1 or the protecting cover 6. Further, a stopper 8 which enables the user to come into contact with the former on the back of the operating lever 1 and can check the traction of the operating lever 1 by the contact, is arranged on the holder 7.
