PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying mechanism capable of conveying a medium without damaging the medium while changing a conveying direction. SOLUTION: A drying part 60 is provided with a conveying part 61 for conveying photographic paper to which processing is applied, and a heating part 62 for heating the photographic paper conveyed by the conveying part 61. The conveying part 61 is provided with a turn roller 65 for changing the conveying direction of the photographic paper, a first roller 66 and a second roller 67 arranged so that a gap into which an end of the photographic paper goes is formed between the turn roller 65 and them, and a guide member 68 fixed and a guide roller 69 rotatably supported between the first roller 66 and the second roller 67. The end of the photographic paper 2 passing through the turn roller 65 and the first roller 66 is guided to the gap between the turn roller 65 and the second roller 67 by the guide member 68 and the guide roller 69.
