PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paddy field water-reserving device with which the water level can be precisely regulated under normal condition, and a drainage port is automatically blocked with rainwater in heavy rain condition so as to prevent flood disaster at the downstream position. SOLUTION: The paddy field water-reserving device is set up at the drainage port of the paddy field, includes a water-stop body banking up the drainage port, a drainage pipe making the water-stop body communicated with the side of a drainage path from the side of the paddy field, and a rainwater-receiving container, so that the water-intake port of the drainage pipe rises up to a prescribed height due to the weight of the rainwater reserved in the rainwater-receiving container.
