<p>The invention relates to an artifical cardiac valve consisting of a tubular element part, or a line, carrying an oscillating tongue or lug, which is built into the inner wall of the tubular element or line or is attached by the plane or anterior end thereof, said tubular element or line having a longitudinally hydrodynamic profile and placed in such a way that it is inclined in relation to the longitudinal axis of the line, enabling the blood flow to pass through in one direction in such a way that it is compressed by same, and preventing the flow from backflowing by adapting it to the inside of the line. The line or tubular element can have a circular, semi-circular, semi-oval or rectangular-semicircular cross-section, with rounded corners. The lugs can be covered by at least one resistant and hard-wearing elastic layer or membrane. One of said lugs can be reinforced inside or laterally with a mesh or a fabric of natural or synthetic fibres. The lugs can be elastic, flexible, rigid and semi-rigid, and have a semi-oval or rectangular form with a semi-oval end and rounded corners.</p> |
