<p>A connector comprising an insulative housing that has a top, a bottom, a first side, a second side, all four sides connected to form a mating face and a board-mounting end; a plurality of terminals supported in the housing and terminating at the board-mounting end wherein each terminal further comprises a contact portion configured to establish electrical contact with a complementary mating connector, a solder tail that extends out of the housing at the board-mounting end, a body portion that is disposed intermediate the contact portion and the solder tail and which interconnect them together; a plurality of solder tabs engaged with the housing; and a plurality of engagement portions coupled to the housing to confine the solder tabs to a predetermined position with respect to the housing.</p> |
