A wall or floor system for a house or building, bordering a first space (1) from a second space (2), comprises a first blade (3) at the side of the first space, a second blade (4) at the side of the second space, and switchable heat transfer means arranged to control heat and/or cold transfer between the first blade and/or the second blade, on the one hand, and the first space and/or the second space, on the other hand. The switchable heat transfer means comprises at least one heat exchange channel (7) extending through or along the relevant blade or blades, the longitudinal direction of such heat exchange channel being substantially parallel to the relevant blade, as well as at least one connection channel (8) for switchably connecting at least one of said at least one heat exchange channel both with the first space and with the second space.
