<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable ofachieving sufficient strength at an angular portion of a housing having a support, while preventing the interference of the support of the housing and a bottom plate frame. <P>SOLUTION: This outdoor unit of the air conditioner comprises the housing 4, and the housing 4 includes a top plate frame 6, the bottom plate frame 14, and the support 12 connecting the top plate frame 6 and the bottom plate frame 15 at an angular portion A where the side face and the back face of the housing 4 intersect each other. The support 12 has a back face supporting portion 12b disposed roughly in parallel with the back face of the housing 4 constituting the angular portion A where the support 12 is disposed, and a turned-back portion 12c turned back to the inner side of the housing 4 from the back face supporting portion 12b, and the bottom plate frame 14 has an avoidance connecting portion 14c connecting the bottom plate frame 14 and the support 12 while preventing the interference of the bottom plate frame 14 and the turned-back portion 12c of the support 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
