<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output device and a communication system, capable of preventing deterioration of sound quality of the output device, such as a terminal device for an IP telephone, used in a PoC service in which one device among a plurality of devices obtains a transmission right for transmitting audio data and simultaneously transmits the audio data to the other devices. <P>SOLUTION: The output device 1 stores received sound data in a storing means such as a jitter absorption buffer and the like, and carries out output based on the stored sound data. When starting reception, restriction such as inhibition of discard is carried out based on an upper limit storing amount that becomes a reference for discarding the stored data. In addition, after a transmission right is moved, when starting reception of the sound data, preliminary data such as silent data is stored in the storing means. Further, a reference amount such as the upper limit storing amount, which is appropriated by former communication, is recorded while corresponding to the transmitting device, and the reference amount recorded corresponding to the transmitting device is read out to be set after the transmission right is moved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
