摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of excellently correcting parallel shake without using an acceleration sensor. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 includes: an imaging device 16 which performs photoelectric conversion on an optical image of a subject to generate an image signal; an angular velocity sensor 61 for detecting an angular velocity; a first shake amount calculating means which integrates a detection value of the angular velocity sensor 61 and calculates a first shake amount VB1 in the imaging apparatus 1; a second shake amount calculating means which calculates a second shake amount VB2 in the imaging apparatus 1 based on image data captured by the imaging device 16; a third shake amount calculating means which corrects the first shake amount VB1 based on a first amplitude that is a variation width regarding the first shake amount VB1 during a predetermined period of time and a second amplitude that is a variation width regarding the second shake amount VB2 during a predetermined period of time and calculates a third shake amount VB3 in the imaging apparatus 1; and a correction control means 68 for correcting shake in the imaging apparatus 1 based on the third shake amount VB3.
