PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device that can easily be reduced in size while maintaining manipulation flexibility. SOLUTION: In a mobile phone 1 provided with a housing 3 including a manipulating surface f2 on which a plurality of numerical keys 11 are arranged, the manipulating surface f2 includes a flat surface 3b at the periphery of numerical keys 11, the plurality of keys 11 have front-side sloping surfaces 11b sloping toward the flat surface 3b, and the plurality of sloping surfaces 11b are oriented to the identical direction. In this mobile phone 1, a gap S is formed of the front-side sloping surfaces 11b among the numerical keys 11 and the gap S is formed as an escaping space R with which a finger depressing a numerical key 11 cannot easily touch on the adjacent other numerical key 11. As a result, a key pitch among the numerical keys 11 can be narrowed without deteriorating manipulation flexibility by the size of the space S formed of the front-side sloping surface 11b, easily enabling reduction in size while maintaining manipulation flexibility.
