PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which can customize the functions or expand in a simplified way, and an image processing method and an image processing program. SOLUTION: A software architecture based on a scheme of idea called as pipe and filter is applied to the image processing apparatus 100. In addition, when image data does not correspond to output processing in an output filter, the image processing apparatus re-generates image data corresponding to the output processing so that the image data can correspond to the output processing.
