PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a film thickness of an insulating coating film is difficult to be formed uniformly, to cause thereby a dispersion of sensitivity or the like, in a conventional method of forming the insulating coating film by applying a liquid resin onto an upper face of an electrode pattern constituting an electrostatic capacitance type moisture sensor. SOLUTION: This electrostatic capacitance type moisture sensor is constituted to join two lines of detecting conductors 2a, 2b having the insulating coating film 3 formed by a chemical change electrically and mechanically to holding conductors 1a, 1b of the respective lines having the insulating coating film formed by the chemical change, and to join the detecting conductors to holding conductors of other lines via the insulating coating film.
