PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecular aggregate formed by aggregation of a plurality of molecules by reversible cross-linking and having a sufficiently good solubility. SOLUTION: The molecular aggregate 30 includes: a host metal complex 1, inside of which holes are formed; and a compound 15 having a substituent group 5 included in the hole of the metal complex 1 and a molecular chain 7 with a molecular weight of 800 or greater binding to the substituent group 5 and extending to the outside of the metal complex 1, wherein 2 or more substituent groups 5 are included in one hole of the metal complex 1.
