PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress the generation of a crack and separation between a reinforcing layer 34 and a rubber chafer 37. SOLUTION: When a bead 13 falls down by the rolling of a load of a pneumatic tire 11, the rubber chafer 37 is pushed by a rim flange 10a and deformed toward both sides in the meridian direction to generate great shearing stress between the outside reinforcing layer 34 and the rubber chafer 37. However, a low-modulus shock absorbing rubber layer (a side tread 28) which is arranged between the outside reinforcing layer 34 and the rubber chafer 37 in at least a region between A and B points effectively relaxes the shearing stress to effectively suppress the generation of separation.
