PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate data transmission control for a subscriber of a mobile radio network in data transmission over the mobile radio network. SOLUTION: When transmitting data in a mobile radio network, e.g., when transmitting text and/or image data with or without sound in multimedia messages (MM), at least one identification signal for one or more sets of data is allocated to the data and the identification signal(s) is/are transmitted to a receiving side of the data.
