<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a lithographic printing plate from a lithographic printing plate precursor capable of heat mode recording and simple development processing, in particular, to provide a simple development processing method by which a non-image area of a thermosensitive layer in a lithographic printing plate precursor including the thermosensitive layer containing a particulate polymer can be removed efficiently and reliably. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for preparing the lithographic printing plate, the lithographic printing plate precursor in which a thermosensitive layer containing a particulate polymer is laid on a support having a hydrophilic surface is subjected to image recording, and a non-image area of the thermosensitive layer is removed by rubbing the precursor surface with a rubbing member in the presence of a processing solution by using an automatic processor equipped with the rubbing member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
