<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device operated as a parking brake. <P>SOLUTION: The electric brake device 10 is provided with an electric unit 9 for driving respective pistons 1 so as to advance and retreat them relative to a non rotation brake disc 8, and brakes the wheel by operation of the electric unit 9. The electric unit 9 is provided with a motion conversion mechanism 5 for converting rotation of an electric motor 2 to linear motion of the piston 1; and a retaining brake 3 for retaining a rotation shaft 13 of the electric motor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
