PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game board unstacking apparatus capable of improving efficiency in unstacking work. SOLUTION: A lifting means 34 included in the unstacking apparatus 10 lifts up or down a game board support base 23 which supports a game board group 11a. The lifting means 34 lifts up the game board support base 23 to the height equivalent to the thickness of game boards in the same number as the number of chucks if the number of the game boards constituting the game board group 11a is at least the number of the chucks, and when a game board detection means 82 corresponding to the chuck on the uppermost stage detects the game boards, all the chucks simultaneously hold the game boards to be in the holding state. The lifting means 34 lifts up the game board support base 23 to the position to be detected by a lifting means detection means 111 if the number of the game boards constituting the game board group 11a is smaller than the number of the chucks.
