PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-designed resin sheet covered metal plate excellent in workability, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: As the first invention, in the highly-designed resin sheet covered metal plate excellent in workability which keeps the surface of the metal plate covered with a highly designed resin sheet from a metal plate (A) 1 side, a coloring agent layer (B) 3, a light-transmitting rainbow-colored layer (C) 5, transparent adhesive layers (D) 6 and 7 mainly formed of acrylate resin and a transparent biaxially oriented polyester base resin sheet (E) 8 are sequentially laminated on one another, the coloring agent layer (B) and the light-transmitting rainbow-colored layer (C) are united in a body, an embossed pattern with a maximum height Ra of 50-200μm is formed on the top surface at the light-transmitting rainbow-colored layer (C) side, and tensile strength at breakage after the curing of the adhesive layer (D) is 20-50 MPa, and its elongation at breakage is≥200-600%.
