PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transferring apparatus which can automate the transfer of stacked articles from a storage box to a cap sealing-fitting apparatus. SOLUTION: This transferring apparatus includes a suction head 14 which suction-holds the stacked articles 100, a moving mechanism which moves the suction head 14, a laser sensor 40 which detects the position of the stacked articles 100 in the storage box, and a control section which controls the moving mechanism and so forth. The distal end of the suction head 14 is fitted with a plurality of suction nozzles 30 which are arranged in a line in the longitudinal direction of the stacked articles 100, and the laser sensor 40. The control section moves the suction head 14 to a position where the suction nozzles come into contact with the stacked articles 100 in the storage box conforming to the detection result by the laser sensor 40, and then, makes the stacked articles 100 suction-held by the suction nozzles 30.
