PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch in which illuminance of a switch knob is made constant regardless of operation of the switch knob, and a feeling of incongruity of a driver or the like is suppressed. SOLUTION: The push switch 1 is provide with a switch knob 3 supported to a switch case 7 and a substrate block 39 being a switch fixing side capable of pushing stroke to an arrow mark A for positioning to an operating position and return stroke to an arrow mark B for returning from the operating position to the original position, and an LED 5 of a night illumination circuit 53 which is supported by the substrate block 39 and transmits and illuminates the switch knob 3, and interlocks a load switch contact 34 of a load circuit 41 by the pushing stroke and the return stroke of the switch knob 3. A potentiometer 36 which increases the resistance value of the night illuminating circuit 53 corresponding to the pushing stroke of the switch knob 3 and reduces luminance of the LED 5 is installed in the night illumination circuit 53 of the LED 5.
