PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress backlash with a simple structure, and to facilitate fixation of both housings and release of them. SOLUTION: A rotatable lever 40 is rotated from a rotation starting position up to a rotation finishing position. Thereby, the lever 40 capable of drawing both housings 1, 3 by cam action is mounted to the female housing 1. A latch 50 having facing parts 52 facing each other in the direction perpendicular to the engagement direction of both housings 1, 3, and energizing both housings 1, 3 in their facing direction is mounted to the female housing 1. The facing parts 52 are connected to a deformation part 54 deforming conjointly with the rotational movement of the lever 40 through a connection part 56, and a space between the facing parts 52 changes so as to increase when the lever 40 is at the rotation starting position compared with the time when it is at the rotation finishing position by the deformation of the deformation part 54.
