ELEVATOR WITH CAR POSITION DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of an elevator user by replacing a car position display device before the car position display device operated at present fails. SOLUTION: The elevator with the car position display device is provided with an elevator serving on a plurality of story floors; an elevator control device 1 for controlling the elevator; and the car position display device 61 installed in a car of the elevator, receiving operation information of the elevator from the elevator control device 1, and displaying the present floor position and the operation direction. The elevator with the car position display device is further provided with a back light working as a light source of the car position display device 61, and an illuminometer 8 mounted in the car position display device and measuring the illuminance of the back light. Abnormality of the car position display device 61 is determined when the illuminance of the back light is equal to or lower than a prescribed value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
