PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable carrying container configured to further facilitate folding work. SOLUTION: A container body 21 of the foldable carrying container is equipped with a bottom wall with a long square plate shape, a pair of short sidewalls 23, and a pair of long sidewalls 24. A pair of engaging members 25 slidable up and down are attached on the outer side faces of both end parts of the short sidewalls 23. Regulating projecting parts project at both end parts of the short sidewalls 23, and are engaged into regulating holes of the regulating plates 51 provided at both end parts of the long sidewalls 24. Engaging projections 61 peoject at the outer end parts of respective engaging members 25, and are inserted into engaging recessed parts 54 at both end parts of the long sidewalls 24, and are engaged with engaging projecting parts 55. An operating part 62 is provided at the base part of the engaging member 25. An energizing projection 66 project on the back face of the engaging member 25, and is engaged with the sidewall projecting part 45 of the outer side face of the short sidewall 23 to energize the engaging member 25 upward.
