摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary friction welding method for a pipe and a rotary friction welding device capable of cutting an inside burr while minimizing restriction of the inner face shape of a work piece with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In the rotary friction welding device 100, a second pipe rotary pressing means 20, a first pipe holding means 10 and an inside burr cutting means 40 are linearly arranged, and a second pipe 2 which is rotated and pressed by the second pipe rotary pressing means 20 is connected to a first pipe 1 held by the first pipe holding means 10. In parallel to or immediately after the connection, the inside burr cutting means 40 inserts an inside burr cutting knife 41 into the first pipe 1 from the front end part 1b of the first pipe 1 opposite to the second pipe 2. During the rotation of the joint body of the first pipe 1 and the second pipe 2 by the second pipe rotary pressing means 20, the inside burr cutting means 40 moves the inside burr cutting knife 41 to the joint part (the rear end face 2b and the front end face 1a are joined), and cuts the inside burr formed on the joint part.
