PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping sewing machine capable of easily switching methods for forming appropriate diagonal cuts corresponding to a case requiring quick work or high sewing quality. SOLUTION: In the piping sewing machine, an end position deviation is provided at least one of front and rear ends in a cloth feeding direction of two straight seams and a straight cut so that end positions of the two straight seams are different in the cloth feeding direction. A first cutting control and a second cutting control are selectively performed to a corner knife mechanism. In the first cutting control, right and left diagonal cuts are formed so that the right and left cutting lengths are equal and that one end of each diagonal cut is made to individually coincide with each end of the right and left straight seams. In the second cutting control, the right and left diagonal cuts are formed so that the right and left cutting lengths are different and that both ends of the right and left diagonal cuts are coincided with the ends of the right and left straight seams and with the end of the straight cut.
