<p>A light receiver (5) fixed to the right door (3) receives an infrared beam (6) projected from a light projector (4) fixed to the left door (2) and outputs a light reception signal to a light reception processing section (12) where the light reception signal is amplified and outputted to a sensor control section (31). A light reception quantity calculating section (36) calculates a quantity of light received by the light receiver (5) when the light projector (4) is projecting light, and a quantity of ambient light received by the light receiver (5) when the light projector (4) is not projecting light, based on the light reception signal. A light reception quantity correcting section (37) corrects the light reception quantity when light is projected, by subtracting the received quantity of ambient light. An obstacle judging section (38) detects an obstacle by comparing the corrected light reception quantity when light is projected with an obstacle judgment value. Consequently, an obstacle can be detected even when ambient light is generated.</p> |
